This project in the Lincoln Fairview Historic District involved removing an aging garage and rebuilding it to match the character of the original home. The existing structure and foundation had deteriorated beyond repair, so the work began with full demolition and removal of the old concrete and block.
After excavation, we poured a new foundation and completed reinforced blockwork to create a solid base for the new garage. The exterior was finished with a custom brick façade carefully matched to the home’s original brick. Stone window sills and accent quoins were installed around the garage doors to maintain the historic look while strengthening the structure.
Once the garage was complete, we regraded the yard to improve drainage and prevent future water issues around the foundation. The driveway was replaced with a new concrete pour, and the retaining walls were rebuilt to reflect the original design. The finished project blended modern durability with the established style of the neighborhood while ensuring the structure will hold up for years ahead.
