This project in Council Bluffs involved rebuilding the front entry with a custom brick paver patio and restoring an aging chimney. The homeowner wanted an entryway that felt solid and intentional, while keeping the look consistent with the existing brick on the house.
We installed a brick paver patio using a 45-degree stretcher bond pattern with detailed brick ribbon accents to give the surface depth and structure. Care was taken to source brick that closely matched the home’s original color and texture. The entry columns were built using the same brick to create a unified look from the walkway up to the front door.
The chimney required removal of deteriorated brick and selective rebuilding to restore its strength and appearance. Damaged sections were replaced with properly matched brick to maintain consistency with the original structure. The finished result gave the home a clean, solid entryway and a chimney that’s ready to hold up for years ahead.
