Had a fantastic experience with Markuson Construction when they restored a portion of the brick on our old home. The craftsmanship is exceptional. Highly recommend.

It was great working with Markuson Construction. We had them out for some masonry work and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.

Markuson Construction repaired several cracking and deteriorating window lintels for the apartment building that I run. They were wonderful with communication during the process, professional, and charged a fair price. We will definitely be using Markuson Construction in the future.

We were looking for someone to help us build a new brick garage and widen our driveway which included replacing a concrete retaining wall. We chose Mark because he had experience in working with historic properties and has done lots of work throughout our neighborhood. We live in a historic district of Council Bluffs and we love our old home. It was important to keep our brand new garage looking similar to our old garage to honor the history of our house, but we were taking down a cute tiny structure & replacing it with a very large 30' x 50' structure. We knew this would take some talent. Mark took our plans and added his own creative details staying sensitive to the history and setting of our home. The brick work on the garage and concrete work done to the driveway (3000 sq ft) and retaining wall came out amazing. Mark is very efficient and was always available to talk and help during the process of our project. We are amazed to see new life being added to our historic home, thanks to Mark. We highly recommend him. He & his crew are outstanding and a pleasure to work with.

Found these guys on BBB. They are WONDERFUL. The employees were respectful, cleaned up after themselves, fast, efficient. Did a GREAT JOB. The estimate was reasonable and no hidden expenses. I would highly recommend them for any chimney, stucco, block, tuck point work that you need. Thank you guys.

We couldn't have been more pleased with Mark and his crew of professionals. We accepted 4 bids for the repointing of our home. Although Mark's bid came out on top, it was clear he was the most knowledgeable contractor in the area. Not only did we know that we were in good hands, but we felt great about supporting his small family-run business and would recommend them to anyone seeking to respectfully preserve a home's history.
